Our systems give you the same gameplay capability as a full arcade cabinet at a fraction of the cost. However, if you prefer a full size cabinet, we have partnered with the vendors below! Reach out and tell them we sent you. Keep in mind that you can always add a cabinet at a later time as most vendors offer the stand alone cabinet as a kit without a PC. DETAILS ABOUT CONTROLLERS:
The following link will take you to a playlist which is full of videos outlining the details about the different controller options you can use with our systems:
XBOX 360 AND XBOX ONE CONTROLLERS:
Xbox 360 and Xbox One controllers: are plug and play and are the "master" controllers. You should start with these while you familiarize yourself with the system before jumping into any other controllers. These can be purchased anywhere they're sold or you can use your existing controllers as long as they're original Microsoft branded and not third party. NOTE: you can use a single Xbox One controller with the 8TB and 16TB systems, if playing games with 2 or more players, you need to use Xbox 360 controllers. If you still want to use Xbox One controllers for multiplayer gaming, you can do so by using 8Bitdo wireless adapter, more on that below.
Notes about Xbox 360 controllers: you only need one wireless receiver for up to 4 controllers, wired controllers will also work. NOTE: your best bet for Xbox 360 controllers is to purchase used ones on eBay, make sure that you include the words OEM or original in your search.

Xbox 360 Third Party Wireless Controllers: The following third party Xbox 360 controllers are tested and approved. The quality is equal to an original controller.

Xbox 360 Third Party Wired Controllers: The following third party Xbox 360 controllers are tested and approved. The quality is equal to an original controller.

Xbox 360 Third Party Wireless Receiver: you can purchase a third party receiver from one of the following links. This is a good option if you already own Xbox 360 controllers or if you buy the controllers without the receiver linked above.

Notes about Xbox One controllers: You must purchase a wireless receiver from the link below for the budget and 2TB systems as well as for any of the CRT systems (you only need one receiver for up to 4 controllers). The receiver sold in stores or most places online will not work. Alternatively, you can hard wire the controller to the PC. For the 8TB and 16TB systems any Xbox One receiver will work (remember that only a single player will work when using an Xbox One controller on the 8TB or 16TB systems unless you use the 8Bitdo adapters mentioned below).

ALTERNATIVE TO XBOX CONTROLLERS:
Playstation Style Third Party Controllers: these controllers work well and Windows recognizes them as Xbox 360 controllers. Each controller includes a wireless dongle that must be used, you cannot pair multiple controllers to a single dongle. Make sure to ready the included instructions, you have to hold the power button and the X button while powering on the controller to put it into the correct mode to use with a PC. This is only required for the first use, it will remember this setting going forward.

8BITDO WIRELESS USB ADAPTER
These adapters are great as any controller connected through them is recognized as an Xbox 360 controller meaning Windows will literally think you are playing with an Xbox 360 controller even if you're not! These adapters support many controllers, we have tested the following for 2 player gameplay:
- Sony Playstation 4 Controllers
- Sony Playstation 5 Controllers
- Microsoft Xbox One Controllers (must be model 1708 or older, the newest model 1914 controllers won't work)
- 8Bitdo Bluetooth Controllers (we haven't tested them all but any 8Bitdo Bluetooth Controller such as the SN30 Pro should work)
Please note that you need one 8Bitdo Wireless Adapter per controller. You'll also want to put the adapter in Xinput mode. Instructions for that can be found on the 8Bitdo support page HERE. Scroll dow, choose the Black USB Adapter 2, click on Manual and select the controller you're using, then select Windows. Look at the "manual setting" section under FAQ to see how to put the adapter into Xinput mode.
Original Console Controllers (OEM) most are plug and play but you must purchase specific adapters/controllers. See the following link for details:
Aimtrak Light Guns are mostly plug and play. See video below for easy initial setup:
Sinden Light Guns are mostly plug and play. See video below for easy initial setup:
Mayflash F300 or F500 Arcade Joysticks are plug and play, there is a physical mod that I recommend you do but isn't mandatory. See my video tutorial at the following link for details:
X-Arcade Joysticks need to be configured, this is very easy to do, I have a very detailed tutorial available on my YouTube channel (see link below) that walks you through the process. You can also order them from me already configured however I would encourage you to have a look at the video as it will save you some money if you do it yourself and it is extremely easy to do. NOTE: if you have a newer X-Arcade controller (2019 and beyond) use the first video. If you have an older controller (before 2019) use the second video.
Xtension Control Board from recroommasters is plug and play with my systems. All you have to do is tick a check box in the settings to enable it. I have a video on my YouTube channel that shows you what to do (link below). Note that you must order the "Emulator Edition" or "Emulator Edition Plus" controller. The 4 player ultimate edition controller will also work but will require some tweaks which we will do for you remotely at no extra charge. Please let us know which of their controllers you are buying when placing your order.
Logitech G29 Steering Wheel is plug and play with my systems. You have to enable it, to do so, make sure to watch the video below. It is a long video because I go into a lot of detail, but enabling it is simple and most of the video just shows you how to do different things like changing the inputs should you choose to do so.
Playstation 4 DualShock 4 Controllers are supported but they must be connected with a USB cable, not wireless. See video below for details.
